Mrs. Richey then discussed the various districts on the <br />map, and pointed out the Congressional and House Districts. <br />She added that two precincts will have to vote on paper <br />ballots, which will involve only nine people. <br />ON MOTION MADE by Commissioner Wodtke, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Lyons, the Board <br />unanimously accepted and approved the Master <br />Copy of the Indian River County Election <br />Precincts. <br />Airs. Richey advised that she would make copies of the <br />map available to the Board. <br />The map and the legal descriptions of the Election <br />Districts are on file in the Office of the Clerk. <br />WAGE AND SALARY SURVEY <br />The Board discussed the following memorandum from Lynn, <br />Williams, Acting General Services Director: <br />TO: The Honorable Members of DATE: July 9, 1982 FILE: Agenda <br />the Board of County Commissioners July 21, 1982 <br />THRU: C. Hardin, Jr. Ph.D. UBJECT: Wage and Salary Survey <br />Acting County Administrate <br />J <br />FROM: REFERENCES: <br />Lynn Williams/:b <br />Acting Genera Services Director <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />A Position Classification and Pay Plan Study was completed <br />in May, 1979 by Cody and Associates. As with any Pay Plan <br />Study certain maintenance should be ongoing.in order to reduce <br />inequities and possible shortcomings of the pay system. <br />In July 1980 the Board accepted and approved the implementation <br />of the present Personnel Management System as proposed by Cody <br />and Associates of Lakeland, Florida.
