Dump Truck in the amount of $2.1,999.01, <br />using funds from Account -#102-214-541-66-43. <br />BID NO. 130 - 1982 13-14 YD. Description and Conditions <br />At the June 2, 1982 meeting, the Board approved the purchase of equipment to <br />replace the following: <br />1 Brush Chipper <br />1 Pickup Truck <br />1 Crew Cab Truck <br />1 6 yd. Dump Truck <br />1 12 yd. Dump Truck <br />Bids were received July 13, 1982 at 11:00 A.M., for (1) 1982 12-14 yd. Dump <br />Truck. <br />10 Bid Proposals were sent out. Of the 4 Bidders responding, 1 was a "No <br />Bid". <br />2. Alternatives and Analysis <br />The low bidder is Roger Whitley Chevrolet, in the amount of $35,359.05 for a <br />1983 Chevrolet with a Detroit Diesel engine. Delivery time 75-90 days. <br />3. Recommendations and Funding <br />It is recommended the bid be awarded to Roger Whitley Chevrolet. A savings <br />of $12,069.06 can be accomplished by awarding this bid to Roger Whitley Chevrolet, <br />though delivery will be very close to or after the end of the fiscal year. <br />Therefore, we recommend these funds be placed in escrow, in the event of delivery <br />not being made.by September 30, 1982. <br />Funds available in Account #102-214-541-66.43. <br />
