8014 <br />AUG. 4 �9 �2 - .xE <br />Discussion followed about the present PAAB and it was <br />determined that at the pleasure of the Board, they serve <br />until they appoint someone else. <br />Attorney Brandenburg stated he believed the PAAB served <br />until that year's business was completed; then there should <br />be another reappointment to do the next year's business. <br />Mr. Nolte interjected that there was a quirk in the law <br />that the Special Masters have to be approved prior to the <br />convening of the PAAB; that was why the last Board did not <br />close itself out so it could adopt this concept. <br />Assistant County Attorney Paull affirmed that the Board <br />needed to reappoint three members at some time before the <br />organizational meeting for the upcoming year. <br />After some discussion, the Board determined that before <br />September, the new Board should be reappointed. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED FOR THE QUESTION. It was <br />voted on and carried with a vote of 4 to 1, <br />with Commissioner Wodtke voting in opposition. <br />Commissioner Wodtke felt that the taxpayers needed to <br />be in close contact with their elected officials at the time <br />of,the hearings. <br />The Chairman commented that a Special Master would not <br />be used in every case. <br />Attorney Paull stated that after the list of petitions <br />-to be heard have been compiled, the PAAB could choose the <br />petitions they wanted to hear and those they wanted heard by <br />the Special Masters. <br />COMPLETION OF COURTROOM C <br />The Board discussed the following memorandum dated <br />July 23, 1982 from Lynn Williams: <br />53 <br />
