This is un- <br />likely to occur in the near future since many structures <br />in the area were built in 1979-1980, and several since <br />1980. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Staff recommends the following action be taken: <br />1) Approve the rezoning request. <br />2) Initiate similar rezoning action on all of Blocks A, B, <br />and C of Oslo Park Subdivision, Unit 1. <br />3) Initiate similar rezoning action for those parcels of <br />land abutting the west right-of-way line of 12th Avenue, <br />S.W. between Oslo Road and 8th Street, S.W. <br />4) Initiate rezoning action of Blocks D and E and from C-1, <br />Commercial to R-1, Single Family Residential (6.2 units/ <br />acre). <br />The Planning and Zoning Commission at their regular business <br />meeting held on June 10, 1982, voted unanimously to recommend <br />that the Board of County Commissioners take action outlined <br />in the staff's recommendations. <br />0 <br />The Chairman asked if anyone present wished to be <br />heard. There were none. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Fletcher, the Board unanimously <br />closed the public hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wodtke, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Lyons, the Board unanimously <br />adopted Ordinance 82-18 granting the rezoning <br />from C-1 to M-1, as requested by Mr. Meiser. <br />
