ORDINANCE NO. 91 -48 - <br />Section 4: The definition of "Public/Private Utility; Heavy" is <br />hereby deleted from Section 901.03 of Definitions as follows: <br />Section3-:--T-he definition–o-f "Public/Private utility, Limited" is <br />hereby deleted from Section 901.03 of Definitions as follows: <br />Section 6: The definition of "Street" is hereby amended in Section <br />901.03 of Definitions as follows: <br />Street - (Also see Roadway) - A public or private right-of-way <br />which provides vehicular traffic access between certain points and <br />which also may provide space for the location of utilities. <br />Streets are classified by function as follows: <br />(1) Arterial, Principal - Those routes intended to carry heavy <br />volumes o raff-ic`ior major distance within or through the- <br />county, <br />hecounty, as delineated on the Indian River County Thoroughfare <br />(2) Arterial, Minor - Those routes intended to carry heavy <br />volumes of traffic for short distances within the county, as <br />delineated on the Indian River County Thoroughfare Plan. <br />(3) Collector - A street which carries traffic from minor <br />streets to arterial streets, as indicated on the Indian River <br />County Thoroughfare Plan. <br />(4) Subdivision Collector Road - A street which serves <br />as the principal entrance street of a residential subdivision <br />or provides for traffic circulation within a subdivision. <br />(5) Minor or Local Street - A street of limited continuity <br />used primarily for access to abutting property, including cul- <br />de-sacs and nonthrough streets. <br />(6) Marginal Access Streets - A street that is parallel and <br />adjacent to a major arterial street or highway and which <br />provide access to abutting property. <br />Section 7: The definition of "Tailwater Conditions" is hereby <br />amended in Section 901.03 of Definitions to read as follows: <br />ffer–MUMMR-1111,111111IMater surface elevation in the canal or <br />receiving water body which the site discharges to during i7i—edesign <br />storm event -•- - <br />Coding: Words in 5 . - . type are deletions from existing law. <br />Words underlined are additions. <br />SmeadSoR Reprint Date: Friday, August 23, 2013 - 12:40:16 - OfficialDocuments:646, Attachment Id 0, Page 2 <br />
