Billboards <br />(6) Political Signs, Political Advertising and Billboards: <br />No political signs, political advertising and billboards <br />shall be placed on property owned or used by Indian River <br />County or by any other governmental agency in the unin- <br />corporated areas of Indian River County. <br />(7) Obscene, Indecent, Lewd, or Immoral Signs Prohibited: <br />No obscene, lewd, indecent, immoral, lascivious or libi- <br />dious signs shall be erected for any purpose within the <br />unincorporated areas of Indian River County. <br />(8) Strip Lightinq: Strip Lighting is prohibited in all <br />zoning districts except "A", "C -IA", "C-111, "LM -1" and <br />"M-1". toren permitted strip lighting is limited to a <br />total footage equivalent to the length or width of the <br />building along the street footage, the size of tubing <br />may not exceed 15 millimeters and transformers may not <br />exceed 30 milliamperes. Neon strip lighting and/or <br />streamer lighting are prohibited above the roof level <br />of any building. <br />(9) Permits. No sign shall he erected in Indian River County <br />witi�out first obtaining a zoning permit from the County <br />Administrator's office. <br />(P) AIRPORT HEIGHT LIMITATIONS: <br />(1) No structure shall be erected within the area shown on <br />the Approach and Zoning Plan of the Vero Beach Municip- <br />al Airport at a height in excess of those delineated <br />and approved by the City of Vero Beach, April 21, 1964. <br />(2) Every airport or airstrip existing or created in the <br />future shall be required to file with the County Admin- <br />istrator a map prepared in accordance with criteria es- <br />tablished in publication TSO -N 18 Federal Aviation Ad- <br />ministration "Obstructions to Air Navigation" which shall <br />become the basis for determining height limitations in <br />the area of the airport or airstrip. <br />(Q) MOBILE HOMES, TRAVEL TRAILERS, CAMPERS, BOAT TRAILERS AND <br />BOATS: <br />(1) MOBILE HOMES: No mobile home shall be located in any <br />district except a Permanent Mobile Home Subdivision <br />District, Mobile Home Park District, Transient Mobile <br />Home District, Mobile Home Estate District or a Resi- <br />dence -mobile Home District, or in districts where allow- <br />ed as a special exception. <br />(2) STORAGE OF TRAILERS AND CXMPERS: Recreational trailers <br />such as travel trailers, camp trailers and boat trailers <br />which do not exceed twenty-six (26) feet in length, and <br />cargo trailers which do not exceed fourteen (14) feet <br />overall in length, may be parked, stored or placed on <br />any lot in any agricultural or residential district, pro- <br />vided that: <br />a. Such trailer is owned by the resident residing on <br />the same lot on which it is located. <br />b. Such trailer is not used for residential, office or <br />commercial purposes. <br />c. Such trailer (or boat mounted thereon) is not used <br />for sleeping, housekeeping or living quarters while <br />so parked. <br />d. Such trailer is located to the rear of the front <br />building line, and in no event less than twenty- <br />five (25) feet from the front lot line; or is locat- <br />ed in a carport or garage. <br />-45- <br />
