Wednesday, September 15, 1982 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida, met in Regular Session at the County <br />Commission Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, <br />on Wednesday, September 15, 1982, at 8:30 o'clock A.M. <br />Present were Don C. Scurlock, Jr., Chairman; Alfred Grover <br />Fletcher, Vice Chairman; Dick Bird; Patrick B. Lyons; and <br />William C. Wodtke, Jr. Also present were Michael J. Wright, <br />County Administrator;'Gary Brandenburg, Attorney to the <br />Board of County Commissioners; Jeffrey K. Barton, Finance <br />Director; Neal Bird, Bailiff; and Virginia Hargreaves, <br />Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order. <br />Reverend Delmas Copeland, First United Methodist <br />Church, gave the invocation, and Commissioner Bird led the <br />Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />The Chairman asked if there were any additions to the <br />Agenda. <br />Attorney Brandenburg requested that an item be added <br />regarding a.right of way certification for the South County <br />water plant, which is necessary in order to be able to close <br />on the bonds on September 30th. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously ap- <br />proved the addition of the emergency item <br />requested by the Attorney as Item 11-C. <br />'iAttorney Brandenburg wished to add a further item re an <br />anticipation note for $300,000 to pay a construction draw on <br />SEP 15 1982 ' 51 <br />
