OCT 61982. � aK �:;br sF z <br />during which we have the property and it is not under lease. <br />The Attorney recommended that the Board accept the deed to <br />be recorded and formally accepted at such time as an <br />arrangement is worked out with the community. <br />Commissioner Bird felt it should also be with the <br />understanding that the School Board retains responsibility <br />for the property until we formally accept it. <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Bird, to indicate to the School <br />Board that the County will accept the revised <br />deed to Douglas Elementary -School, and acceptance <br />will be effective when the Attorney's office <br />records the deed, which will not be until <br />arrangements have been worked out with the <br />community for a proper use of the property. <br />Commissioner Wodtke asked Mrs. Ingram, President of the <br />West Wabasso Civic League, if any arrangements have been <br />made with the health group re leasing a portion of the <br />Douglas School complex. <br />Mrs. Ingram stated that she has not met with them yet <br />because the League is in the process of fund raising. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Fletcher, the Board unani- <br />mously extended the meeting to 5:15 P.M. <br />Commissioner Bird expressed the hope that things are <br />moving along in a timely fashion in regard to reaching an <br />agreement with the Health people because the Board does not <br />want to activate the Quit Claim Deed until we have a lease <br />arrangement worked out with the Civic League or someone; we <br />89 <br />
