RECOMMENDATION <br />1. Authorize the Chairman and the Clerk of the Board of County <br />Commissioners, the Administrator and the County Attorney to <br />execute and record the Revised Maintenance Map for Quay Dock <br />Road, and <br />2. Authorize the Public. Works Director to begin making those <br />certain improvements to the end of Quay Dock Road previously <br />agreed to by the County Commission, and <br />3. Upon completion of the improvements authorize the County <br />Attorney to accept the deed and easement and file them in the <br />Official Records of Indian River County. <br />Respeully, submitted, <br />. -ter <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Fletcher, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Wodtke, to approve <br />recommendations 1, 2 and 3, of the Attorney's <br />memo dated September 28, 1982. <br />Mitchel Hampton of the Winter Beach Progressive League <br />noted that the deed requires that the property be left in <br />its natural historical condition, and he wished to know if <br />it could be worded so that there could be a turn -around <br />provided. <br />Attorney Brandenburg explained that the deed is for the <br />portion of the road from its current pavement to the Indian <br />River, and the County has agreed to put a turn -around at the <br />end of the paved area by putting in a culvert. <br />Mr. Hampton then asked about construction of a pathway <br />and an overlook and the size of same, noting that the public <br />would -like to have easy access to the river. <br />Attorney Brandenburg stated that the terms of the <br />agreement would not have any effect on the overlook; the <br />terms are that it would be left in as natural condition as <br />V4 <br />Z <br />94 <br />OCT 61982 0 51_ PAE. +_X <br />-h <br />
