OCT <br />s <br />1982' <br />51 � ���� 6 : <br />CONTINUE <br />DISCUSSION RE PURCHASE OF TAPE RECORDER <br />BY JUDGE <br />STIKELETHER <br />Attorney Brandenburg asked if this purchase couldn't <br />carry over to next year's budget, and Commissioner Bird <br />commented that he previously made a Motion to go ahead and <br />pay the bill since we have to pay it in any event. <br />Chairman Scurlock felt we needed to get the message <br />across that you must follow certain procedures. <br />Commissioner Wodtke noted that the problem was that we <br />did not know where the machine was or what the invoices <br />represented, but we now have received that information. <br />ON MOTION MADE by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Wodtke, Commissioner Lyons <br />having left the meeting, the Board by a 3 to 1 <br />vote, approved payment out of last year's budget <br />of the bills for the tape recording equipment <br />purchased by Judge Stikelether, upon the equipment <br />being located and property number placed on it. <br />EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES COMMITTEE <br />Commissioner Fletcher reported that the Emergency <br />Medical Services Committee has requested that the Civil <br />Defense Director be added as a member of their committee. <br />Commissioner Fletcher further noted that Dr. Fraser made <br />this request, and the doctor has said that for $10,000 he <br />would be willing to serve as a director and to put together <br />a County program. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Fletcher, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board by a 4 to 0 vote, <br />Commissioner Lyons having left the meeting, agreed <br />to add the Civil Defense Director as a member of <br />the Emergency Medical Services Committee. <br />105 <br />
