1 neE545,.: <br />OCT 61982 <br />ARTICLE 15 <br />OTHER CGNDITIONS OR SERVICES <br />Services: <br />Medical <br />Medical services and the appropriate space for all the equip- <br />ment and the records, as required by Florida law, shall be <br />provided. <br />Food <br />To provide meals to inmate population which will meet recom- <br />.'mended daily requirements. <br />The food will be bulk -delivered to medium and maximum security <br />cell blocks. - <br />A cafeteria service shall be provided with separate dining <br />areas for minimum security inmates and staff. <br />Maintenance <br />Design of the Complex should incorporate ease of maintenance by <br />removing the equipment (as much as possible) out of secure <br />^ areas. <br />Design construction should take into consideration future main- <br />tenance on an economical basis. <br />Facilities for maintenance shall be provided external to the <br />secure area. <br />Law Enforcement Goals <br />a. The Investigation and Organized Crime Bureau will be sepa- <br />rated from the Uniform Division, neither being accessible by the <br />jail. <br />b. The administrative section should be accessible by both the <br />Law Enforcement and the Jail Divisions. <br />c. The jail should be designed so that the inmates do not have <br />visibility of the Law Enforcement Divisions. <br />d. The Communications Division should be removed from all <br />general traffic flow. <br />e. Provision should be made for physical fitness and training <br />area to include shower facilities and a gun range. <br />f.
