NOV 3 136Z <br />51 <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Fletcher, the Board unanimously <br />authorized the Attorney to send the proposed <br />letter to Michael Eriksen, as presented to <br />the Board. <br />The Chairman asked the Board members if they wanted to <br />reconsider the action taken at the last Commission meeting <br />regarding the additional funds that were authorized to be <br />allocated for rent for Judge Stikelether. He mentioned the <br />various objections he had received from the State Attorney <br />and the Public Defender, as well as the Concerned Citizens <br />group. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously <br />agreed to add the emergency item to the agenda, <br />to reconsider the action taken at the last <br />Commission meeting on the matter of Judge <br />Stikelether's quarters. <br />The Chairman stated that since the last meeting, upon <br />reflecting on the decision that was made, as well as <br />receiving input from the State Attorney, Public Defender, <br />various attorneys, and the Concerned Citizens group, he felt <br />the <br />Board <br />ought <br />to reconsider their decision. <br />He <br />added that <br />he <br />was in <br />favor <br />of asking the Judge to go <br />back <br />to the <br />facility which the Board was providing for him as it was <br />adequate. Also, the Chairman felt the Board could make a <br />reasonable amount of expenditure available to accommodate <br />the orderly transfer, and move the court back in the <br />facility for which it was intended. <br />Commissioner Lyons thought that the information that <br />Attorney Brandenburg had received from the symposium had <br />
