On that basis, <br />Commissioner Lyons planned to vote on a motion to ask that <br />the Judge return and that they cut off funding for the <br />outside places shortly. <br />Commissioner Fletcher advised that he had been in <br />communication with the Judge since the last meeting and the <br />Judge had indicated to him a willingness to cooperate with <br />the County regarding space. He commented that the Judge had <br />stopped smoking as of about 10 or 15 days ago. Commissioner <br />Fletcher noted that many people have expressed to him'that <br />the Board had bent over backwards trying to make a space for <br />an excellent judge. He thought that now the Judge`haa to <br />make the choice, examine what his problem was doing to the <br />other participants of the system, and he would also support <br />a motion for the Judge to go back to the original courtroom <br />and do so within the next 30 days. <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Bird, that the Board would not <br />fund outside courtroom space for Judge Stikelether <br />reasonably close to December 1, 1982, depending <br />upon the problems of creating the transfer. <br />The Chairman interjected that this would give a little <br />bit of flexibility as notices for hearings may have already <br />been scheduled. <br />Commissioner Wodtke inquired what costs were involved <br />for Judge Stikelether's office space in the Welfare <br />Building. <br />The Board determined that the costs involved were for <br />the electricity and janitorial service. <br />L_ NOV 3 1982 70 <br />
