The Board of County Commissioners recessed at 12:00 <br />Noon and reconvened at 1:45 with Deputy Clerk Virginia <br />Hargreaves taking over from Deputy Clerk Janice Caldwell for <br />the remainder of the meeting. <br />FLORIDA LAND CO'S APPEAL OF RIVERBEND SITE PLAN APPROVAL <br />CONDITION <br />Attorney Brandenburg noted that this is an appeal and <br />it has been properly published. He believed the appellant <br />now wishes to request_adjournment of their appeal to a time <br />certain, and informed the Board that they are working <br />towards a way to settle this dispute. Attorney Brandenburg <br />believed they are heading in the right direction and would <br />like more time to work on this matter. <br />Attorney Henderson, representing Florida Land Co., <br />confirmed that they would like to have a 30 day_extension. <br />Discussion ensued on tabling this item, and Attorney <br />Brandenburg suggested that the Board open the public hearing <br />and then adjourn it. <br />The Chairman opened the public hearing and asked if <br />anyone present wished to be heard. There were none. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Lyons, the Board unanimously <br />continued the hearing on the appeal of ,Riverbend <br />site plan approval condition to the first meeting <br />in December. <br />i <br />SMALL CITIES COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT APPLICATION <br />Commissioner Lyons informed the Board that there is <br />still a chance to receive funding on the Community <br />Development Block Grant Program. This will be the third <br />year we have tried. He informed the Board that the <br />application, which is for a one year period according to the <br />new rules, was put together with a minimum in-house effort. <br />NOW 3 74 <br />i9�2 51 P� 991 <br />
