N O V 3 1982 WK. <br />- -TO: <br />Commissioner Bird asked if Mr. Rose was in agreement <br />with what we are recommending today, and Mr. Rose stated <br />that if there must be such a committee, the Board should <br />have representation, but he felt we should research further <br />into the make up of the committee and how the voting is set <br />up. <br />Commissioner Wodtke stated that he would like to have <br />the comments of the Lost Tree Village Corporation included <br />in the proposed resolution. <br />ADOPTION OF UNIFORM PISTOL LICENSING ORDINANCE - 82-27 <br />Attorney Brandenburg announced that this is a <br />continuation of an earlier hearing, and it has been <br />published properly. <br />Assistant County Attorney Paull reviewed the following <br />memo summarizing the revisions to the proposed amending <br />ordinance, as follows: <br />Chairman and Honorable ®ATE. Paull REFERENCES: <br />Assistant County Attorney <br />Returning for your consideration are the proposed amendments to the <br />concealed handgun licensing ordinance. A series of revisions has <br />been made as a result of comments and concerns expressed at the <br />October 6th public hearing. These may be briefly summarized as <br />follows: <br />1. Range qualification has been simplified to require firing <br />from 7 and 15 yards only, using either or both hands, and <br />adjusting time constraints for weapons which require <br />reloading. <br />85S <br />
