The Corporation will promptly notify <br />the County in writing of subsequent new connections and disconnec- <br />tions of sewer services. Billing by the County for new connec- <br />tions will be made in the current month only if notice thereof is <br />received by the County at least fifteen (15) days before the <br />a scheduled billing date. Such new connections and disconnections <br />for the Corporation shall conform to the policies currently in <br />effect by the County. Furthermore, all policies in use by the <br />County for its customers shall take precedence. <br />2. The County shall be authorized for and on behalf of <br />the Corporation to furnish and make receipts for payment from the <br />Corporation's customers when paid by hand delivery, to terminate <br />service for.nonpayment of sewer service charges, and to include <br />the sewer service charges along with charges for all services <br />furnished by the County in any bills or statements to the cus- <br />tomers that may be served both by the Corporation for sewer pur- <br />poses and by County for water services. The Corporation shall <br />provide the County with a telephone number for all sewer service <br />complaints which shall be printed on the face of the invoice and <br />shall continue to provide proper service to the sewage collection <br />and treatment system. Both parties agree that the County does not <br />undertake any obligation whatsoever with respect to the operation <br />and maintenance of the sewage collection and treatment system. <br />3. The charges for sewer services shall be the rates <br />established from time to time by the Board of County Commissioners <br />of Indian River County, Florida, and a copy of the schedule of <br />rates to be charged by the Corporation is attached hereto and made <br />a part of this Agreement as Exhibit "A". The Corporation agrees <br />that if it amends the said rates at any time that it shall furnish <br />immediately a copy of the rates as amended to the County. The <br />County shall not be obligated to collect said rates until such <br />time as a copy of the schedule of rates as amended is furnished to <br />the County. -The County shall charge the sum of ONE DOLLAR ($1.00) <br />per billing as its fee for the services performed under this <br />Agreement.
