N OV 17 1982 Uc 4 .: <br />The Board discussed the various representatives, and it <br />was determined they should be individuals with a general <br />interest in citrus or some form of agriculture. <br />s <br />Ms. Wakefield pointed out that this committee would be <br />meeting two times a year. <br />The Chairman stated that each Commissioner would <br />furnish Ms. Wakefield with a name from their district. <br />UTILITY'RATE STUDY BY ACCOUNTING FIRM <br />The Board reviewed the following memorandum from the <br />Utilities Director, Terrance G. Pinto <br />Utilities Director <br />DATE: November 12, 1982 FILE: <br />SUBJECT: Bid and Quotations <br />REFERENCES: <br />Quotations were received November 10, 1982, at 10:00 a.m. in the <br />Administration Office. The bids and the quotations were as follows: <br />1. May Zima & Company ----------------------$24,500 <br />2. Ernst & Whinney= ------------------------No Bid <br />3. Arthur Young & Company ------------------$20,000 <br />4. Peat, Martwick, Mitchell & Company ------No Bid <br />5. Darby, Sheahen & Weissman ---------------$30,000 <br />Whereas the low bidder, Arthur Young & Company, meets all the requir- <br />ments set forth with the proposal request. I recommend that they <br />be retained by the County Commission to proceed with the Study <br />as proposed immediately. <br />Funding <br />The Study shall be paid from Utility Department funds. <br />
