ANAT,YS T S <br />The applicant is requesting Final Plat -approval without having <br />finished all improvements. Rather, the applicant has furnished <br />an irrevocable letter of credit from Haven Federal Savings and <br />Loan Association for the cost of the required improvements. <br />The Public Works Division has reviewed the letter of credit as <br />well as the proposed improvements and contracts for construction <br />of these improvements. Revisions to these were required. The <br />applicant has made the revisions as requested. <br />The subdivision's utilities will be provided by the City of <br />Vero Beach. The applicant has provided letters from the city <br />confirming that they will receixe these utilities. The County <br />Utilities Department had reviewed the actual utilities con- <br />struction drawings and found them to be sufficient. <br />Staff has reviewed the Final Plat and found it to be correct and <br />complete. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners approve <br />the final plat of the Seagrove South Subdivision - Unit I, <br />contingent upon the applicant signing a contract binding him <br />to completing the improvements for Seagrove South Subdivision <br />- Unit I in accordance with the plans the applicant has submitted <br />to the County. In addition, the Chairman of the Board of County <br />Commissioners needs to be authorized to execute the contract in <br />Attachment 7 on behalf of the Board of County Commissioners. <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Wodtke, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Bird, to grant <br />Final Approval of Seagrove South Subdi- <br />vision - Unit One, per staff recommenda- <br />tion. <br />Commissioner Fletcher noted that the property has <br />recently changed hands, and wished to ascertain that we <br />still are in proper title. <br />Attorney Brandenburg confirmed that we are. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED FOR QUESTION. <br />It was voted on and carried unanimously. <br />100 10K 52 PtiuE 416 <br />aEC 15 1982 <br />
