PUBLIC <br />- PAVING & PRELIMINARY ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR <br />48TH AVENUE <br />The Chairman asked if there was anyone present who <br />wished to belheard. <br />Warren ichards, 881 48th Avenue, approached the Board, <br />and referred to an area near Lot 7 on Block 4 that has never <br />been include in the petition - it would consist of 170' <br />additional f et. He advised that the following names should <br />be added to the petition: Mr. and Mrs. Cole, and Mr. and <br />Mrs. Rattray. They were not on the original petition but <br />now they are in favor of it. <br />` ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Fletcher, the Board unanimously <br />agreed to close the public hearing. <br />Discussion followed about the petition paving on 47th <br />Avenue, and it was determine not to take any action on 48th <br />Avenue until the public hearing concerning 47th Avenue was <br />held. <br />PUBLIC HEARING - PAVING & PRELIMINARY ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR <br />47TH AVENUE <br />The Chairman asked if there was anyone present who <br />wished to be heard. <br />Kent Merrill, 916 47th Avenue, came before the Board, <br />and stated that they do have a valid petition for their <br />street. He added that they had been trying for five years <br />to get 47th Avenue paved and he urged the Board to do the <br />project. <br />Mary Askew, 4721 9th Place, came before the Board and <br />stated <br />that <br />she had <br />met with <br />Mr. <br />Davis on <br />December 3, <br />1982, <br />and at <br />that <br />time he <br />had not <br />had <br />a valid <br />petition. <br />She <br />continued <br />that on December 13th, <br />another name was <br />received <br />DEC 15 <br />1982 <br />42 <br />2 ?A TGE 356 <br />
