L71 <br />Margery Merrill, 916 47th Avenue, commented to the <br />Board that Vista Royale had done the inverted crown and it <br />worked well. <br />Ms. Calmes, 936 47th Avenue, stated that she wished to <br />inject a little humor into the discussion. Because of the <br />bad drainage in her driveway, she would love to vacate the <br />turtle that resides at the end of her driveway. <br />Mr. Davis talked about the surveyors preparing a <br />detailed topographic survey of the area; staff would then <br />study the options, and meet with the people to discuss the <br />results of their study. He pointed out that they were not <br />trying to force a particular type of system for the roads, <br />but would like to advise the people of their options. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wodtke, the Board unanimously <br />agreed to close the public hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Fletcher, the Board unanimously <br />adopted Resolution 82-135 providing for paving <br />and drainage improvements to 48th Avenue, <br />between 8th and 10th Streets, at a <br />preliminary cost of $28,804. <br />DEC 15 1982 44 610K .2 PAVE 38 <br />
