DEC 15 1982 <br />APPROVAL OF FINAL ASSESSMENT ROLL - PETITION PAVING <br />The Board discussed the following memorandum dated <br />November 22, 1982: <br />TO: The Honorable Members of the <br />Board of County Commissioners <br />TROUGH: Michael Wright, <br />County Administrator <br />FROM: James W. Davis, P.E. <br />Public Works Director <br />DESCRIPTION k,M CONDITIONS <br />DATE: November 22, 1982 FILE: <br />SUBJECT: Final Assessment Roll - Petition Paving <br />44th Avenue —22nd Street to 26th Street <br />36th Avenue - 12th Street to 14th Street <br />13th Place - East of 27th Avenue <br />REFERENCES: <br />The paving of 44th Avenue, 36th Avenue, and 13th Place is complete. The <br />final cost for the work was: <br />44th Avenue <br />36th Avenue <br />13th Place <br />$21,283.15 <br />$20,607.93 <br />$ 5,544.24 <br />All are under the original estimates. The Final Assessment Polls have been <br />prepared and are ready to be delivered to the Clerk to the Board. Assessments <br />are to be paid within 90 days or in two equal installments, the first to be <br />made twelve months from the due date and the second to be made twenty-four <br />months from the due date at the rate of interest established by the Board of <br />County Commissioners. The due date is 90 days after the final determination 3 <br />of the special assessment. The interest rate shall be 12% per annum. <br />ALTER_IIATIVE ArT) ANALYSIS <br />Since the final assessment to the benefitted owners will be less than <br />computed on the preliminary assessment rolls, the only alternative presented <br />is to approve the final assessment rolls. <br />RECO,%MaMATIONS AND FU10ING <br />It is recommended that the Final Assessment Rolls for the paving of <br />44th Avenue, 36th Avenue, and 13th Place be approved by the Board of County <br />Commissioners and that they be transmitted to the Office of the Clerk to the <br />Burd for collection. <br />
