The Wilson property is vacant, as are the surroundi-ng parcels. <br />This area is essentially rural in character. The proposed re- <br />zoning would provide three major benefits: <br />1. It would allow Mr. Wilson to build a single family residence <br />on his property or sell his property for residential use. <br />2. It would allow Mr. Herndon to establish his proposed feed <br />store on his property. <br />3. It would bring both parcels into conformance with the Com- <br />prehensive Plan. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Based on the foregoing discussion, staff recommends approval. <br />The Chairman asked if anyone present wished to be <br />heard.
