Wednesday, January 19, 1983 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission <br />Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Wednesday, <br />January 19, 1983, at 8:30 o'clock A.M. Present were Richard N. <br />Bird, Chairman; Don C. Scurlock, Jr., Vice Chairman; Alfred <br />Grover Fletcher, Patrick B. Lyons; and William C. Wodtke, Jr. <br />Also present were Michael J. Wright, County Administrator; L. S. <br />"Tommy" Thomas, Community Services Director; Gary Brandenburg, <br />Attorney to the Board of County Commissioners; Jeffrey K. Barton, <br />Finance Director; Dan Fleischman, Bailiff; and Virginia <br />Hargreaves, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order. <br />Commissioner Fletcher led the Pledge of Allegiance to the <br />Flag, and Reverend Stan Sanford, First Baptist Church, Wabasso, <br />gave the invocation. <br />INTRODUCTION OF AIDE TO .CONGRESSMAN TOM LEWIS <br />Chairman Bird introduced Ms. Sandi Fodi, Aide to Congressman <br />Tom Lewis. _ <br />Ms. Fodi informed those present that Congressman Lewis is <br />anxious to be of service to those in Indian River County and will <br />have hours when he will be available in Vero Beach City Hall on <br />the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month. She reported <br />that Congressman Lewis can be contacted at his main officer <br />8895 North Military Trail, Suite 304B <br />Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. 33410 and at his branch office: <br />50 Kendrick St., Room 104 <br />b Stuart, Fla. 33494 <br />ADDITIONS TO AGENDA <br />The Chairman asked if there were any additions to the <br />Agenda. <br />Administrator Wright wished to add an item regarding <br />JAN 19 1983 <br />x 52 FwF 56R <br />
