ORDINANCE 2012-029 <br />(15) Convenience stores. One space per one hundred fifty (150) square feet of gross floor <br />area. <br />(16) Electronic telephone switching stations. One space per station; the space shall be <br />either paved or fully sodded or otherwise stabilized as approved by the public works <br />director. <br />(17) Fire stations. One space per five hundred (500) square feet of gross floor area. <br />(18) Flea markets and farmer's markets. There shall be one and one-half (1 1/2) parking <br />spaces for each booth or stand. In addition, each stand or booth shall have one <br />backup loading parking space adjacent to each stand or booth. All parking spaces <br />and driveway aisles shall be either paved or otherwise stabilized as approved by the <br />public works director. <br />(19) Funeral chapel. One space per three (3) seats within the chapel. <br />(20) Funeral homes, mortuaries and crematoriums. There shall be one space per three (3) <br />seats within the chapel, plus one space per three hundred (300) square feet of gross <br />floor area for all other building areas or uses. <br />(21) Furniture, carpet and major appliance stores. <br />(a) One space per three hundred (300) square feet of gross floor area for the <br />showroom, plus one space for every seven hundred fifty (750) square feet of <br />gross floor area for product storage area for stores containing display and <br />storage area. <br />(b) One space per four hundred (400) square feet of gross building area for stores <br />containing display area only. <br />(22) Gas station. One space at each fueling position. The space cannot conflict with the <br />overall traffic circulation system for the site. <br />(a) With automotive repair. One space per four hundred (400) square feet of <br />building are devoted to automotive repair in addition to spaces for other uses. <br />The spaces cannot conflict with overall traffic circulation system for the site. <br />Service bays or other areas devoted to automotive repair/storage shall not be <br />credited towards satisfying parking requirements. <br />(b) Gas station with accessory retail sales. One space per one hundred seventy- <br />five (175) feet of gross floor area devoted to retail sales in addition to spaces <br />for other uses. The spaces cannot conflict with the overall traffic circulation <br />system for the site. <br />(c) With fast food with drive through: One space per one hundred (100) square <br />feet of gross floor area devoted to fast food in addition to spaces required for <br />other uses.
