ON MOTION BY Commissioner Scurlock, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Lyons, the <br />Board unanimously closed the Public <br />Hearing. <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Lyons,. <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Scurlock, that the <br />Board adopt Ordinance 83-14 providing <br />standard fire prevention codes, and <br />authorize the Chairman to sign. <br />Discussion followed. Attorney Brandenburg explained <br />that if the Ordinance is adopted, it would be enforced <br />throughout the entire County, with the exception of Indian <br />River Shores, which is adopting the stricter 1983 edition of <br />the NFPC. <br />THE QUESTION WAS CALLED by Chairman Bird. <br />It was•voted on and carried unanimously. <br />Ordi--4nce 83-14 will be made a part of the Minutes <br />after review by the Fire Districts. <br />I/ <br />AUDITORS REPORT - COMPREHENSIVE ANNUAL FINANCIAL REPORT <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY - SEPTEMBER 30, 1982 <br />Finance Director, Jeffrey Barton, introduced John <br />Vodenicker and Rhett Harrell of May Zima & Co., Certified <br />Public Accountants, contracted for the annual audit of <br />Indian River County. <br />Copies of the financial report were distributed to the <br />Commissioners, and Mr. Vodenicker explained various parts of <br />the report, noting that pages 4 & 5, the Combined Balance <br />Sheet of the entire County demonstrate that both the General <br />13 <br />
