MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Wodtke <br />that the Board accept staff recommendation <br />for the bottled water and put the water cooler <br />out for rebid. <br />MOTION DIED FOR LACK OF A SECOND. <br />Attorney Brandenburg noted that with no Board action, <br />the bids will just die unless the Board intends to take this <br />up in a future meeting. <br />Chairman Bird returned to the meeting at 10:58 A.M. and <br />resumed the chair. <br />PUBLIC HEARING - PETITION PAVING - 14th STREET <br />BETWEEN 6th AVENUE AND U.S. NO. 1 <br />The.Board reviewed the following staff recommendation <br />dated 3/14/83: <br />TO: The Honorable Members of the DATE: March 14, 1983 FILE: <br />Board o unty,Commissioners <br />THRU: Co 4WhtJ' <br />Countystrator lie <br />SUBJECT: 14th Street - U.S. 1 to 6th Avenue <br />Right -of -Way Acquisition <br />FROM: James W. Davis, P.E. , REFERENCES: <br />Public Works Director <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />During the March 2, 1983 meeting of the Board of County Commissioners, <br />the public hearing for the petition paving of 14th Street was extended un%il <br />the March 16, 1983 meeting so that all necessary right-of-way could be acquired. <br />Since that March 2 meeting, staff has obtained a letter from Attorney George <br />G. Collins, Jr.) stating that Mr. Erbe Wold, owner of Southgate Village Trailer <br />Park, will donate the 25' of right-of-way and will pay the appropriate assess- <br />ment for paving. (See attached map shown Mr. Wold's property). Mr. Wold is <br />representing Mrs. Grace Lacava, who has also verbally agreed to donate the <br />right-of-way and pay the assessment. Mrs. Summerall and t;Hollomans do not <br />own the road right-of-way fronting their property,.as it,`sAirly <br />itten out of <br />the deeds for their land.
