He stated that that he would like to see <br />the amount escrowed higher than $18,500, a compromise figure <br />between that and the $31,500 estimated for a deceleration <br />lane. <br />Various amounts and time periods were discussed. <br />MOTION'WAS MADE by Commissioner Scurlock, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Lyons, that the <br />Commission go on record as approving the <br />various stipulations that have been offered <br />by the County Attorney with a 3 year $25,000 <br />irrevocable letter of credit being established <br />for a deceleration lane or a traffic light. <br />Attorney Brandenburg suggested that it might be more <br />palatable to Mr. O'Haire's client if there was an additional <br />proviso on the difference between the $18,500 and the <br />$25,000, and he suggested that a statement be made on the <br />irrevocable letter of credit requiring that the $25,000 be <br />lowered to $18,500 at the point where the DOT or the County <br />has determined that it is impossible for the County one-way <br />47 <br />
