r <br />MAR <br />16 <br />1993 <br />, cZr-66 <br />on the south side of the inlet does not mean <br />that <br />our <br />residents might not want to use the park facilities located <br />on the north side of the inlet. He felt it is a unique <br />situation with a park surrounding an inlet, which is a <br />special taxing district, and people have been able to fish <br />and launch boats there for many years. <br />Commissioner Scurlock stated that he wouldn't mind the <br />State charging anon -resident fee, and Commissioner Lyons <br />commented that the state has a big problem; they must pay <br />for policing, maintenance, etc. The possibility of boat <br />launching fees and camping fees we're discussed. <br />Commissioner Wodtke felt possibly sufficient funds <br />could be raised for maintenance, etc., thrOV <br />'gh concession <br />fees. He noted that we are pretty adamant in regard to not <br />paying any fees on our side of the inlet, and he felt we <br />should be supportive of Brevard County. It was generally <br />agreed the key issue is opposing an.entrance-fee. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Wodtke, the -Board unanimously <br />authorized the Chairman to write Mr. Gissendanner <br />of the DNR supporting the City of Melbourne's <br />objection to the establishment of entrance fees <br />at Sebastian Inlet State Park. <br />PROMISSORY NOTE - $850,000 INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT BONDS <br />Attorney Brandenburg reviewed the following letter from <br />the law firm of Fleming, O'Bryan & Fleming: <br />57 <br />M <br />
