The Reso- <br />lution indicates the City's objection to the establishment <br />of entrance fees 4t Sebastian Inlet State Park -by tare <br />Florida Department of Natural Resources. <br />We would appreciate your support of this Resolution, and <br />ask that You contact Mr. Elton J. Gissendanner, Executive <br />Director of the Florida Department of 'Natural Resources <br />3900 Commonwealth }boulevard, Tallahassee, Florida 32303. <br />Additionally, we have been informed that the Park will be <br />closed at dusk to all except fishermen. We feel that this <br />procedural A ange shou'd be re-evaluated. It is important <br />that our residents and visitors to the area be allowed ac- <br />cess to the Park without restrictions being -imposed. <br />Since; eiy, I/ <br />Samuel H. Halter <br />Cite Manaber <br />The Chairman informed the Board that the State <br />Department of Natural Resources has indicated that they do <br />not have any intention of imposing any fees on the south <br />side of the inlet park, except for camping, because of the <br />deed restrictions. Apparently Brevard County does not have <br />that same stipulation, and it seems the DNR feels a fee <br />should be established there consistent with other state <br />parks.
