r MAR 16 1983 � <br />.fix �a 6 <br />Based on this information, and the wording of our current <br />Subdivision Ordinance, the County Attorney recommended that <br />the County accept the above offer. <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Scurlock, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Lyons, to authorize <br />the Attorney to do whatever is necessary to <br />accept the offer relayed by Attorney Connell <br />and asked staff to come up with a consistent <br />policy in regard to requiring paving of roads <br />and also to stop co-minglixyg of funds. <br />Lengthy discussion ensued regarding thV-number of times <br />the Board had considered this particular subdivision, the <br />assessment policy that has been set up since, private <br />streets opposed to dedicated streets, the need to adopt a <br />new Subdivision Ordinance clarifying procedures re half <br />roads, assessments, etc. <br />Based on the facts presented, it was generally agreed <br />it would be more consistent to return the escrowed funds, <br />and Attorney Brandenburg believed there is a substantial <br />chance the County would lose this suit and incur more <br />expenses. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED FOR THE QUESTION. <br />It was voted on and carried unanimously. <br />SUPPORT CITY OF MELBOURNE'S OPPOSITION TO FEES AT SEBASTIAN <br />INLET STATE PARK <br />Chairman Bird discussed the following letter received <br />from the City of Melbourne: <br />55 <br />
