ORDINANCE 2012-020 <br />8. A power generation facility that is associated with the bio -fuel plant and <br />proiected to generate 50 megawatts of power or more shall be subiect to <br />the specific land use criteria and special exception process for "Public <br />and private utilities, heavy". <br />SECTION #5: <br />Amend LDR Section 971.12(4), Self —service storage facilities (special exception), to read as <br />follows: <br />(4) Self-service storage facilities (special exception). <br />(a) District requiring special exception approval (pursuant to the provisions of 971.05): <br />CL. <br />(b) Additional information requirements: <br />1. A written statement from the applicant stating the following: <br />i. That no commercial activity, vehicular service or repair or storage of <br />hazardous materials shall be allowed and that this requirement will be <br />included in every tenant's lease agreement; and <br />ii. That only domestic and household goods or personal and <br />noncommercial goods will be kept or stored on the premises. <br />Both of these provisions will be set forth in appropriate and visible signage located <br />on the facility site. <br />2. A site plan meeting all of the requirements of Chapter 914. <br />(c) Criteria for self -storage facilities: <br />1. Storage unit interior areas shall not exceed ten (10) feet in height. <br />2. Storage units shall not exceed one hundred fifty (150) square feet in size. <br />3. Outdoor storage is prohibited. <br />4. All outdoor lights shall be shielded to direct light and glare only onto the self - <br />storage facility premises. Light and glare shall be defected, shaded and <br />focused away from all adjoining property and road rights-of-way. <br />5.
