<br />The "Board of County _Commissioners has'
<br />scheduled a public hearing to consider the adop-
<br />tion of the following resolution an April 6. 1983, at
<br />10:90 A.M. In the County Commission Chambers
<br />at 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Rorlda. All Indi-
<br />viduals Interested in the resolution shall be given
<br />the opportunity to comment at this time.

<br />ING BY RULE CLOSING -HOURS FOR
<br />CERTAIN COUNTY ;PARKS AND BEACH
<br />ACCESS SITES. -
<br />,',' WHEREAS, the Board of l County Commission -
<br />are of Indian River County have determined that tt
<br />,194n the best Interest of the citizens of Indlanl
<br />,River County to establish pursuant to the "Indian
<br />.River County Park Ordinance" rules providing for
<br />closing hour, of certain County parks and beach
<br />accesses.
<br />NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
<br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF.IN-
<br />DIAN RIVER COUNTY that the following rules Are
<br />l
<br />hereby adopted pursuant to Section 17 — IA -4 (a),
<br />of the Indian River County Code of Laws and Or-
<br />dinnces..
<br />1. The following County parks or beach access
<br />points shag close and all lndivlduale shag vacate

<br />jd) Gifford Neighborhood Park
<br />j, Tlie following -County parks shag close at
<br />sunset and all Individuals except those launching'
<br />or retrieving boats shall vacate,

<br />:(b) Dale Wimbrow Park
<br />(c) Ambersand Park
<br />-�Thle resolution shall be filed with the Clerk of
<br />the Circuit Court of the County and shall h
<br />effective when so filed.
<br />If any, person decides to appeal any decision
<br />made on the above matter, he -she will need a
<br />record of the proceedings, and for such pur-
<br />poses, he -she may need to ensure that a we.rbatim,
<br />record of the proceedings is made, which record,
<br />includes the testimony in evidence on which the
<br />Appeal is based.

<br />Tommy Thomas, Community Services Director, assured
<br />Commiss-ioner Lyons that the hours will be posted at the
<br />parks involved as they cannot be enforced unless posted.
<br />The Chairman opened the Public Hearing and asked if
<br />anyone wished to be heard. There were none.
<br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons,
<br />SECONDED by Commissioner Scurlock,
<br />the Board•unanimously closed the
<br />Public Hearing.
