MAY <br />4 <br />1983 <br />aau <br />404 <br />It <br />was explained that the Board had tried to get <br />the Sheriff <br />to deputize the Indian River Shores Police, but the Sheriff is <br />limited by Statute as to whom he can deputize, and he did not <br />feel this was feasible. <br />Chairman Bird noted that we are not trying to encourage <br />activities in the park after dark, and he believed we did set <br />sunset as the closing time for other county parks. <br />Chairman Bird asked if anyone else wished to be heard. <br />There were none. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Lyons, the Board unanimously <br />closed the public hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Lyons, the Board unanimously <br />adopted Resolution 83-36 establishing closing <br />hours for the Tracking Station Park, deleting <br />nine o'clock P.M. and stating that all persons <br />shall leave the park between sunset and sunrise. <br />68 <br />
