Commissioner Scurlock stated that he is going to <br />suggest that at next Wednesday's meeting, unless all <br />material is in and complete and goes out on Friday, that the <br />Commission does not consider that item. He noted that on <br />today's agenda there are six items with no back-up material <br />and it makes it very difficult to follow. <br />Mr. Pinto noted that he did not want the Commission to <br />receive the Change Orders until they were actually signed by <br />the contractor, and the Administrator explained how these <br />items developed and they were emergency items. <br />Change Order No. 2 <br />Utility Director Pinto reported that he has met with <br />people on Sea Turtle Lane and St. Christopher Lane and they <br />have agreed to the price; the residents who are able to <br />connect are going to pay for this construction, and we will <br />be entering into a specific agreement with those residents. <br />Administrator Wright confirmed that we want to have a <br />contractual relationship with these people prior to <br />construction, and he asked that the Board approve the Change <br />Order subject to that relationship with the homeowner. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wodtke, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Scurlock, the Board unani- <br />mously approved Change Order No. 2, in the <br />amount of $10,800 with Ortega Industrial <br />Contractors for South Beach Water System <br />Improvements - Phase I, subject to a satis- <br />factory contractual relationship with the <br />property owners. <br />63 <br />BOOK P3 PACt-33 <br />
