Wednesday, June 1, 1983 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida met in Regular Session at the County Commis- <br />sion Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on <br />Wednesday, June 1, 1983, at 8:30 o'clock A.M. Present were <br />Richard N. Bird, Chairman; Don C. Scurlock, Jr., Vice <br />Chairman; Margaret C. Bowman, and William C. Wodtke, Jr. <br />Commissioner Patrick B. Lyons was absent due to having jury <br />duty. Also present were Michael J. Wright, County Adminis- <br />trator; L.S. "Tommy" Thomas, Community Services Director; <br />Gary Brandenburg, Attorney to the Board of County Commis- <br />sioners; Jeffrey K. Barton, Finance Director; Barbara Bonnah <br />and Virginia Hargreaves, Deputy Clerks. <br />Michael J. WrighL, County Administrator, led the Pledge <br />of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />MINUTES <br />The Chairman asked if there were any additions or <br />corrections to the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of May 18, <br />1983. There were none. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Bowman, the <br />Board unanimously approved the Minutes <br />of the Regular Meeting of May 18, 1983. <br />as written. <br />JUN 1983 R3 ME <br />1 <br />
