The County Attorney is authorized and directed to <br />employ expert real estate appraisers for the purpose of securing <br />appraisals of the value of the property described in Exhibit "A" <br />attached hereto for the purpose of acquiring said needed real <br />property. <br />3. The County Attorney is hereby authorized and <br />directed to proceed to take the necessary steps for Indian River <br />County to acquire in its own name by donation, purchase or eminent <br />domain proceedings, the real property described in Exhibit "A" and <br />to have prepared in the name of Indian River County all papers, <br />pleadings and other instruments required for those purposes and <br />to follow through and see that all eminent domain proceedings are <br />prosecuted to judgment. <br />4. The County Attorney and County Engineer are hereby <br />authorized and directed to take such further action as is reason- <br />ably required to fully accomplish the purposes set forth herein. <br />5. The property acquired pursuant to this resolution <br />shall be used for the public purpose of providing a vehicular and <br />pedestrian transportation system along the 16th Street corridor. <br />The foregoing resolution was offered by Commissioner <br />Scurlock who moved its adoption.. The motion was seconded <br />by Commissioner Bowman and, upon being put to a vote, the <br />vote was as follows: <br />Chairman Richard N. Bird Aye <br />Vice -Chairman -Don C.
