Wednesday, June 15, 1983 <br />The Board of -County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida met in Regular Session at the County <br />Commission Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, <br />on Wednesday, June 15, 1983, at 8:30 o'clock A.M. Present <br />were Richard N. Bird, Chairman; Don C. Scurlock, Jr., Vice <br />Chairman; Margaret C. Bowman, Patrick B. Lyons, and William <br />C. Wodtke, Jr. Also present were Michael J. Wright, County <br />Administrator; L.S. "Tommy" Thomas, Community Services <br />Director; Gary Brandenburg, Attorney to the Board of County <br />Commissioners; Jeffrey K. Barton, Finance Director; Barbara <br />Bonnah and Virginia Hargreaves, Deputy Clerks. <br />Dr. Fred W. McClellan, First Presbyterian Church, gave <br />the invocation. <br />Before leading the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag, <br />Commissioner Wodtke asked that this being the week we honor <br />the American Flag, we take a moment to reflect on its <br />history. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Finance Director Barton requested an item be added to <br />today's Agenda regarding the State Revenue Sharing <br />Application for Fiscal Year 1983-84 that must be returned to <br />the Department of Revenue by June 30, 1983. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Wodtke, the <br />Board unanimously added the above item <br />to today's Agenda. <br />JW, N 15 1983 <br />
