believed the whole issue was whether it shall be multi- <br />family or single family and the density, and stated he was <br />prepared to make a decision on that basis. <br />Commissioner Lyons noted that since they want to <br />explore all the alternatives to develop this property <br />compatibly, he did not want to deny them the opportunity. <br />Chairman Bird asked if anyone wished to be heard on <br />this matter. <br />Mr. Henry Muller of Cutlass Cove Dr. informed the Board <br />that he is the largest property owner adjoining the property <br />in question, both to the south and across AIA, and he has <br />never been contacted by anyone representing Mr. Foreman in <br />regard to what they are planning to do. He felt that it was <br />a absolute misstatement of fact that every attempt has been <br />made to contact and work with the -people who are affected by <br />the decision, and he, therefore, objected to any <br />postponement of the rezoning appeal. <br />Mr. Cooksey stated that they would be delighted to work <br />with Mr. Muller. <br />Mr. George Bunnell of Beachcomber Lane in Indian River <br />Shores addressed the Board and stated the. County has very <br />diligently and very kindly insisted from the beginning that <br />the people and the government of Indian River Shores come <br />forth with their feelings and comments on this matter and <br />they have done just that. They are now prepared to present <br />the feelings of individuals, of the property owners <br />association, the authors of the Indian River Shores•Master <br />Plan, the Zoning Board, the Indian River Shores Council; and <br />to present a separate study by the Town Manager -- all in an <br />attempt to prove to the Commission that an upward rezoning <br />is not in the interest of the County nor in the interest of <br />Indian River Shores. <br />Mr. Bunnell felt that if the owner is allowed to waive <br />the 45 -day repeal requirement and the people objecting to <br />35 <br />WK 53 PAGE 72,5 <br />JUN 15 1983 <br />
