� � r <br />Chairman Bird recalled that the County had used two <br />CETA participants in the Gifford Park program last summer. <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Scurlock, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Bowman, that the <br />Board approve the CETA assignment of summer <br />personnel to the Parks & Rec. program, <br />subject to the one condition that there is <br />no requirement they become permanent <br />employees of Indian River County, and <br />authorize the Chairman to sign the <br />Memorandum of Understanding. <br />In discussion, Commissioner Lyons requested that these <br />CETA participants be properly supervised at all times during <br />the summer recreation programs and Chairman Bird assured him <br />they will be. <br />The Chairman CALLED FOR THE QUESTION. <br />The Motion was voted on and carried <br />unanimously. <br />MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING <br />a AMONG <br />DIVISION OF EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING <br />THE SUMMER YOUTH EMPLOYMENT OPERATOR <br />AND <br />THE WORKSITE EMPLOYER <br />This Memorandum of Understanding is entered into this <br />day of �G«c , 1983; between <br />hereafter referred to as the Worksite Employer, and Martin <br />County School Board <br />_ r <br />hereafter referred to as the Operator.
