JUL 6 1933 <br />WALTER EAGER Has worked for Metropolitan Life for 40 years <br />and has been a sports fisherman the major part <br />of his life. He has served on the Fisheries <br />Commission in New York State, involved in <br />re -populating Lake Ontario with salmon and large. <br />trout. He has lived in Florida for 5 years. <br />BOB VIRNSTEIN Professional Biologist with Harbor Branch <br />Foundation, and a Benthic Ecologist (study of <br />animals associated with the bottom). His training <br />and research at Harbor Branch Foundation has been <br />on animals associated with the bottom, either <br />living in the bottom or on the bottom, both in <br />sandy bottoms and in sea grasses. <br />DR. CHARLES LANE Professional Biologist for 35 years. Has served <br />on various University faculties, ending up at <br />University of Miami as a Professor of Marine <br />Biology. He has worked, taught and done research <br />on various problems relating to marine environment <br />and the animals that live there for the past 25 <br />years. He has lived in Vero Beach for 10 years. <br />ALLEN EDWARDS Is an avid sports fisherman. <br />JOHN THOMAS He is a 3rd generation Commercial Fisherman, <br />and a life-long resident of Indian River County. <br />JOE CARROLL Field Supervisor with Fish and Wildlife Service. <br />Biologist for approximately 20 years. His <br />territory is from St. Augustine to Key West. <br />Commissioner Lyons continued that this committee is <br />doling out some assignments and is being supported by our <br />staff, and he plans to look in on them from time to time. <br />PROPERTY APPRAISAL ADJUSTMENT BOARD <br />Chairman Bird announced that the time has come to set <br />up the Property Appraisal Adjustment Board, which consists <br />of three Commissioners and two members from the School <br />Board. <br />After some discussion, the following Commissioners <br />volunteered their services - Commissioner Bowman, <br />Commissioner Scurlock, and Chairman Bird. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously <br />elected Commissioners Bowman and Scurlock and <br />Chairman Bird to serve as members of the Property <br />Appraisal Adjustment Board for 1983. <br />
