That is contained on Page 3, (e), which is an <br />entirely new paragraph. <br />Attorney Brandenburg also pointed out that on Page 2, <br />item 2, a clause has been added designating a successor <br />organization to the premises should the West Wabasso <br />Progressive Civic League ever terminate their lease, the <br />County would have the right to designate a successor <br />organization to take over their role. <br />Attorney Brandenburg stated that attached to this deed <br />and incorporated by reference into it is whatever was worked <br />out between the, League and the Corporation. The two groups <br />have independently worked out that arrangement, and we have <br />incorporated that herein so that there would be no confusion <br />as to the League's rights under the deed. <br />Attorney Brandenburg asked Mr.Diaz if he wanted to <br />comment on the deed. <br />Mr. Diaz addressed the Board and explained why the <br />Corporation had requested the changes indicated by Attorney <br />Brandenburg. He gave a brief summary.of the Corporation's <br />activities and service areas in seven counties. He reported <br />that the Corporation is intending to make extensive <br />restoration in the area and there area lot of Federal <br />dollars involved. <br />Commissioner Wodtke asked Attorney Brandenburg if the <br />County had the right of access to water and sewer when using <br />the property and Attorney Brandenburg confirmed that if the <br />County gave reasonable notice in advance of any use of the <br />facility or site and agreed on a cost sharing arrangement of <br />the utilities, that these are things that would be worked <br />out on a one by one basis. <br />Attorney Brandenburg asked Mr. Diaz that should the <br />County, for instance, request to use the site for a ballgame <br />and have the use of the restroom facilities there, would he <br />have the authority to approve that use and the cost sharing <br />47 <br />AUG 3 1993ctoK : Pict <br />
