representatives, be they from the WWPCL or other <br />individuals. <br />Mr. McDonough felt this was the proper time to formally <br />request that the Board of County Commissioners give the <br />League assurance that they would have representation on the <br />Corporation's Board. <br />Commissioner Lyons felt that the agreement as written <br />does not give the Indian River County Board of Commissioners <br />the right to choose their representatives, and Mr. Diaz <br />stated that was the way their Board understood it. <br />It was agreed that the agreement be changed to read, <br />"In no event shall there be fewer than two representatives <br />of Indian River County on the Board'of Directors, at least <br />one of whom to be a representative of the West Wabasso <br />Progressive Civic League, or its successor." <br />Commissioner Wodtke asked what was going to happen to <br />the classroom space in areas A & B in the diagram of Douglas <br />School. Mr. Diaz explained that USC was interested in <br />subleasing the four classrooms directly behind Area B, and <br />they would contact them upon execution of this agreement. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bowman, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Lyons, the Board <br />unanimously authorized the County Attorney to <br />accept and record the deed from the IRC School <br />Board, adopted Resolution 83-56 authorizing <br />the Chairman's signature on the Quit -Claim <br />Deed to be delivered to Mr. Diaz for recording, <br />and that the Deed is to include the changes in <br />regard to representation as discussed in this <br />meeting. <br />In discussion, Commissioner Wodtke requested a copy of <br />the binder on the insurance policy. <br />AUG 3 1983 <br />49 BOOK. $ <br />way. <br />
