September 7, 1983 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida met in Regular Session at the County <br />Commission Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, <br />on Wednesday, September 7,. 1983, at 8:30 o'clock A.M. <br />Present were Richard v.. Bird, Chairman; Don C. Scurlock, <br />Jr., Vice Chairman; Patrick B. Lyons, Margaret C. Bowman, <br />and William C-Wodtke, Jr. Also present were L.S. "Tommy" <br />Thomas, Community Services Director; Michael J. Wright, <br />T. County Administrator; Gary Brandenburg, Attorney to the <br />r <br />Board of County Commissioners; Jeffrey Re Barton, OMB <br />Director; Barbara Bonnah and Virginia Hargreaves, Deputy <br />Clerks. <br />Ed Lovelace, Minister of Youth and Music, First Church <br />of God, gave the invocation and Commissioner Wodtke led the <br />Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Administrator Wright reported that Public Health. <br />Director, Dr.. Cindy Lookabaugh, has requested the addition <br />to today's Agenda of a brief discussion re the reinstatement <br />and funding of a pre -natal program. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Bowman, the <br />Board unanimously added the above item <br />to today's Agenda. <br />SEP 7 1983 <br />600wrAc09 <br />
