Budget Amendment, Supplies for Clerk of the Court <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 8/31/83: <br />August 31, 1983 <br />TO:Board of County Commissioners r <br />THROUGH.'CJeffrey K. Barton, Office of.Management & Budget <br />FROM: Edwin M. Fry, Finance Director Al <br />Three years ago, supplies were received and paid for to last three <br />years. These supplies were depleted during the current year and <br />were replaced as was needed. Unfortunately, the purchase of these <br />has caused us to exceed our budget. <br />I request that the following budget amendment be adopted to provide <br />us with sufficient funds for the balance of the fiscal year. <br />ACCOUNT NUMBER DESCRIPTION INCREASE DECREASE <br />001-309-586-99.02 Budget Transfer $5,000. <br />Clerk of Courts <br />001-199-513-99.91 Reserve for Contingency $5,000. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Lyons, the <br />Board unanimously approved the above <br />budget amendment, as recommended by <br />Finance Director Ed Fry. <br />INCREASED GRANT AWARD FROM DEPT. OF COMMUNITY AFFAIRS <br />LANDSCAPING OF GIFFORD AND HOBART-KIWANIS PARKS <br />Community Services Director Thomas explained that his <br />office had received a letter just yesterday from the Florida <br />Department of Community Affairs regarding a Modification to <br />Agreement on Contract No. 84BG-47-10-40-01-074 between the <br />Florida Department of Community Affairs and Indian River <br />County, Florida. The modification is to increase the <br />original grant award from $22,161 to $26,565, an increase of <br />$4,404. He explained that the grant comes under the Small <br />18 <br />
