a problem does arise in re to the State funding his position <br />for next year to let the Board know so that they can <br />consider some additional funding. <br />Commissioner Lyons hoped that the press will give good <br />coverage of Mr. Palmiotto's report so that the public can <br />fully appreciate the efforts of the Urban Forester. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Bowman, the <br />Board unanimously accepted the Annual <br />Report of the Urban Forester. <br />Mr. Palmiotto gave a short slidefilm presentation which <br />consisted of slides of various County landscaping projects: <br />Wabasso Beach Park <br />Gifford Park <br />Beach Accesses <br />Intersection of SR 60 and U.S. #1 <br />Blue Cypress Lake - boat ramp <br />Protection of oak trees at Fellsmere School <br />Student LEEP Program <br />REPORT IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK <br />PROPOSED COUNTY WATER LINE OUT STATE ROAD 60 <br />Attorney Brandenburg explained that potential <br />developers out on SR 60 have approached the County to work <br />with them to construct a water line to serve their future <br />developments. County Administration has looked at three <br />alternatives, has come up with three different routes, and <br />is now looking for the most feasible way to share <br />construction costs for a water line out SR 60 in such a <br />manner that County rate payers will not suffer any increased <br />f costs as a result of that line being constructed. One of <br />the suggestions was that the developers form some sort of a <br />10 <br />OCT 5 1983 54 PACE P38 <br />
