It also establishes Florida Land Co.'s <br />riparian rights to the piece of property along the river. <br />Commissioner Scurlock read aloud the following <br />recommendation of the Transportation Planning Committee. <br />1. Any work within environmentally sensitive areas must <br />receive approval by the County's environmental planner. <br />2. -A tree survey must be performed in the proposed <br />right-of-way. <br />3. Florida Land Company must stake out the proposed <br />right-of-way. <br />4. Florida Land Company will pay for stabilizing the <br />river shoreline. <br />5. All costs for the changes in alignment would be borne <br />by Florida Land Company. <br />6. The Company will also remove any objections to the <br />County's permitting process. <br />Attorney Brandenburg reported that the Public Works <br />Dept. had done a survey showing the maintenance map <br />right-of-way, the current road bed and the proposed road <br />bed. Public Works Director Davis explained the map showed <br />the three routes in different colors. <br />Attorney Brandenburg explained that County policy on <br />these matters has been: <br />1) that the road has been there in the public records <br />and we have good documentation that it has been there prior <br />to 1924 when the County acquired absolute title of that <br />roadway by virtue of it being posted and viewed under the <br />procedures back then; <br />2) that it was not objected to by any of the current or <br />abutting owners at the time; <br />44 <br />QCT 19 <br />1983 BN*9 55 pm 137 <br />
