ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Lyons, the Board <br />unanimously authorized the advertisement and <br />sale of Lot 153, Block 6, Hall, Carter & James <br />Subdivision, City of Fellsmere. <br />- Mr. Erwin M. Cartwright, Sr., owner of Lot 152, was <br />informed that this property would be advertised and he would <br />be kept abreast of the proceedings. <br />SELECTION OF UNDERWRITER FOR PROPOSED REFINANCING OF <br />$5 -MILLION CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT BONDS <br />Commissioner Scurlock reported that the Finance <br />Advisory Committee had received presentations from four <br />firms and recommended the selection of Arch W. Roberts/The <br />- Leedy Corporation _as the managing underwriter for the <br />proposed refinancing of $5 million in county capital <br />improvement bonds. Matthews & Wright, Inc. had been a close <br />second choice, but the Committee preferred the Florida firm <br />of Arch W. Roberts/The Leedy Corporation. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Wodtke, the Board <br />unanimously selected Arch W. Roberts/The Leedy <br />Corporation as the managing underwriter for the <br />proposed refinancing of $5 million in Indian River <br />County capital improvement bonds. <br />REPORT ON FOURTH COURTROOM <br />Commissioner Lyons presented a sketch of the proposed <br />fourth courtroom proposed for the second floor of the <br />Courthouse Annex, and explained that it would be a very <br />large courtroom that could be used for every use. The plans <br />were reviewed by Judge Smith, who noted there were no <br />restrooms in the jury room, and the drawings have been <br />53 <br />NOV 219 55 wE 21.9 <br />
