NOV 16 1983 <br />November 16, 1983 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida met in Regular Session at the County <br />Commission Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, <br />on Wednesday, November 16, 1983, at 8:30 o'clock A.M. <br />Present were Richard N. Bird, Chairman; Don C. Scurlock, <br />Jr., Vice Chairman; Patrick B. Lyons, and William C. Wodtke, <br />Jr. Commissioner Margaret C. Bowman was temporarily <br />delayed. Also present were L.S. "Tommy" Thomas, Community <br />Services Director; Michael J. Wright, County Administrator; <br />Gary Brandenburg, Attorney to the Board of County <br />Commissioners; Jeffrey K. Barton, OMB Director; Barbara <br />Bonnah and Virginia Hargreaves, Deputy Clerks. <br />Chairman Bird called the meeting to order and <br />Commissioner Lyons led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />The Chairman asked if there were any additions or <br />corrections to the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of <br />10/19/83. There were none. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Lyons, the Board <br />by a vote of 4-0, Commissioner Bowman being <br />temporarily delayed, approved the Minutes of <br />the Regular Meeting of 10/19/83, as written. <br />The Chairman asked if there were any additions or <br />corrections to the Minutes of Regular Meeting of 11/2/83. <br />
