NOV 16 1993 E,5 PAA15 <br />At the regular monthly meeting of the Indian River County Bar <br />Association held on March 15, 1983, the following Resolution <br />was unanimously passed: <br />RESOLUTION <br />WHEREAS, Indian River County has recently been certified ` <br />by the Suprome Court of the State of Florida as needing an <br />additional County Judge; and <br />WIiEREAS, the Supreme Court of the State of Florida has <br />recently certified that an additional Circuit Judge is needed <br />by the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit of which Indian River <br />County is a part; and <br />WHEREAS, the present.courtrooms at the Indian River County <br />Courthouse are not presently able -to handle the existing case- <br />load of all Judges presently based at the said Courthouse; and <br />WIiEREAS, the Indian River County Commission is consider- <br />ing adding an additional courtroom in the Courthouse Annex. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Indian River County <br />Bar Association endorses the concept of adding a courtroom in <br />the Indian River County Courthouse Annex and further, encourages` <br />the Indian River County Commission to act promptly in establish- <br />ing said courtroom so that the ends of justice will not suffer: <br />or be delayed. ; <br />L WR C E A. AR , ecretary <br />Treasurer, Indian River County <br />Bar Association <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Scurlock, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Wodtke for purposes <br />of discussion, to authorize Architect John <br />Calmes to go to construction drawings of <br />his design for the fourth courtroom with <br />the exception of the covered walkway. <br />126 <br />
