Commissioner Scurlock was dissatisfied with the phone <br />system in the administrative complex and noted it is <br />becoming a ever growing problem in terms of getting into the <br />switchboard, even with the additional trunk lines. He <br />understood that this system was sold to the County as the <br />most updated and flexible system that was available; <br />however, he had some real questions about the entire system <br />and suggested that the Administrative staff take an in-depth <br />look and analyze an approach for the future to correct the <br />situation so that the public can have easy access to the <br />Commissioners' offices. Chairman Bird directed <br />Administrator Wright to address this problem. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Scurlock, the <br />Board, by a vote of 4-0, Commissioner Bowman <br />being temporarily delayed, accepted the <br />Report on Telephone Company Divestiture plus <br />the comments made for improving the phone <br />situation in the Administrative Building. <br />B.
